Siesta Beach, named one of the best beaches in the world, has officially reopened following Hurricane Milton. On Saturday, Oct. 26, Sarasota County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources welcomed visitors back to Siesta Beach, Nokomis Beach, North and South Brohard, and Maxine Barritt Park on Venice Island. Access to these barrier islands, including the celebrated Siesta Beach, is officially open to the public.
Along with beach reopenings, select boat ramps at Nokomis Beach, Manasota Beach, and Blackburn Point will also be operational. For the latest updates on park and beach access, visitors can check the Park Status Report at sarasotacountyparks.com.
