Salvation Army serving free lunch and dinner in Tampa beginning Friday

The Salvation Army Tampa Area Command’s Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) will provide vital relief to those impacted by Hurricane Milton, beginning Friday, October 11. From 12pm to 6pm daily, the EDS team will serve lunch, dinner, and hydration, while distributing emergency supplies through five Emergency Disaster Mobile Canteens stationed across the area. These mobile canteens offer essential support to individuals and families recovering from the hurricane’s aftermath.

The Salvation Army remains steadfast in its mission to deliver immediate relief to those facing disasters and hardships. This outreach reflects their ongoing commitment to supporting the Tampa and Hillsborough County communities during times of crisis, ensuring access to food, water, and basic necessities.

Canteen Locations and Times:

  1. Salvation Army Tampa Corps: 1100 West Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  2. Riverside Recovery: 4004 N Riverside Dr, Tampa, FL 33603. 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday; 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. daily thereafter.
  3. Plant City Fire Department: 604 E Alexander St, Plant City, FL 33563. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. (The canteen will escort supplies through neighborhoods.)
  4. New Life Tabernacle South Tampa: 1002 S Church Ave Suite A, Tampa, FL 33629. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  5. Victory Tabernacle of Seminole Heights: 1010 E Busch Blvd #102, Tampa, FL 33612. 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
