On Friday, Oct. 11, Tampa Theatre will celebrate the start of its 12th annual A Nightmare on Franklin Street series with a Franklin Street Block Party from 5-7 pm under the historic marquee. The Franklin Street sidewalks will be lined with vendors, neighbors and community partners offering tricks and treats in equal measure (with more vendors to be added!):

Then, the cinematic dance floor is open, with a screening of Stephen King’s 1976 supernova CARRIE at 7:00pm, and the 1980 slasher PROM NIGHT – starring Leslie Nielsen and Jamie Lee Curtis – at 10:00pm.
The Block Party is FREE and open to the public, ticket is not required. Film tickets are $10 / $7 for Theatre Members.
