Tampa is one of the top cities for vegan foodies, according to a new report

Tampa has secured its spot as one of the top cities for vegans, landing at number 10 in a new study by WalletHub. The study analyzed 100 of the largest U.S. cities, using 17 key indicators to measure how vegan- and vegetarian-friendly each city is.

  • 1st – Salad Shops per Capita
  • 6th – Vegetable Nurseries per Capita
  • 22nd – Percentage of Restaurants Serving Vegan Options
  • 34th – Farmers Markets & CSA Programs per Capita
  • 41st – Percentage of Restaurants Serving Vegetarian Options
  • 50th – Cost of Groceries for Vegetarians

WalletHub’s criteria spanned from the availability of meatless dining options to the affordability of vegetarian groceries, highlighting cities where following a plant-based diet is both convenient and cost-effective.
