All I’ve ever wanted to do was master the claw machine. TikTok is filled with videos of experts grabbing prizes of all shapes, sizes, and dollar values with relative ease. Now Tampa has a hub where experts, novices, and maybe just a few wayward shoppers can test their luck. A new claw machine hub, Krane, is now open at KRATE at The Grove in Wesley Chapel (5817 Wesley Grove Blvd).

“We’ve been stocking up on the cutest and cuddliest merch for you to snag out of our cranes!” wrote the owners in July ahead of their soft launch. “From Pokémon to Hello Kitty, sports jerseys and hats to even some BIG grand prizes like a Nintendo Switch, we’ll have something for everyone!”

15+ machines to choose from and play

The slender space features about 15 different “krane” games to enjoy, with prizes ranging from baseball hats and basketball jerseys to plush Pokemon dolls, long pink cartoon cats, and bouncy balls. You can get a better sense of what’s inside this mini arcade by following Krane on Instagram.

Krane is open 7 days a week, which feels especially clutch considering how temperamental this summer has been. Krane is open Monday through Thursday from 4pm-9pm, Friday and Saturday from 2pm-11pm, and Sunday from 2pm-7pm.

A lot is happening at KRATE at The Grove which boasts dozens of restaurants, boutiques, bakeries, and more. Follow KRATE on Facebook for updates on concerts, markets, and more.
