Grand Cathedral Cigars, Tampa’s gorgeous cigar bar inside a century-old church

Grand Cathedral Cigars (2201 N Florida Ave) is one of the most gorgeous venues in all of Tampa. This gorgeous cigar bar and lounge first opened in 2021 to wild acclaim, and it just came on my radar courtesy of a recent post by When In Tampa on Instagram (highly recommend you follow this account if you haven’t already).

Home of the Official Casa Cuba Lounge & Gardens, Grand Cathedral features one of the largest cigar establishments utilizing a unique century old historical cathedral with an inside space of 7,000 sqft and an outdoor patio of 6,000 sqft. With an exclusive members-only piano bar and second floor area, the owners pride themselves on providing first class service and offering the finest selection of premium cigars and craft libations.

This is the brain child of Angela Yue. Yue is the also the brains behind Lord Puffer in San Diego, CA and the proprietor of Alchemist Tobacco, a hand crafted premium hookah tobacco company that uses only the finest French tobacco and ages it in bourbon barrels.

In addition to a beautiful bar and lounge, the location is also home to Sandwichi Food Truck. Must try items include:
