St. John’s is the oldest and most easterly city in North America. A top hiking spot amongst visitors is Signal Hill. The journey through the famous Battery leads to Cabot Tower, which served as a military guard post throughout the 1700s and 1800s. Atop the tower, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the harbor city and its skyline.
Perched on top of the horizon is The Rooms. This art gallery and museum is situated next to the iconic twin clocktowers of the the Basilica of St. John’s.

The area is popular for zip-lining tours, windsurfing and sailing adventures.
