The Tampa Bay Mineral and Science Club will host its 65th Annual Rock, Gem, Jewelry and MORE! show on Nov. 2 and 3. We will have 60 vendors offering an amazing assortment of unique slabs, cabochons, beads, gems, jewelry, minerals, specimens and more! If you collect, create, or just enjoy working with nature’s materials, this is the show for you. We have a kids’ section with a sluice, a touch table with rock identification, scavenger hunt and a bean bag toss where kids (and adults, too) can win prizes. Learn how to make jewelry at the in-person make-and-take classes. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military (with ID), free for kids under 10. Second day free if you bring back your first-day wristband. Parking is free when you enter through the MLK entrance. This is an indoor event, so it is air conditioned. There will be a concession stand (card only), and an ATM out front. Enjoy the company of like-minded people, and have a great time. For more information, go to tampabayrockclub.org.
