Tampa Love Market, live music planned for waterfront 813 Day celebration

Friday, August 13, is a special day here in Tampa. That’s because it’s 813 day. Sparkman Wharf is planning a major celebration with The Identity all benefiting Feeding Tampa Bay.

On Friday August 13, get ready for live music along the Riverwalk, and $8.13 specials at select businesses at Sparkman Wharf.

Sparkman Wharf will donate $5 (up to $1,000) for every photo taken in front of the Sparkman Wharf TAMPA sign from August 13 – August 15 and posted on Instagram. The famous TAMPA sign will be decorated to mark the occasion. Anyone can enter, with the following criteria:

  • Take a photo with the TAMPA sign from August 13-15 with the special Tampa-themed décor.
  • Post on Instagram and tag Sparkman Wharf. 
  • Use the hashtag #813Day, #SparkmanWharf, and #TampaBay

On Friday, a Tampa Love Mini Market will feature a variety of local businesses  around the lawn, guests are encouraged to show some love to these local innovators. Local vendors include Abbicreates Studio, AR Workshop Tampa, Flan Factory, Kelsey Brauer Art, Plante La Vie, Pointer Fabrications, and more.

The night will also include a full line-up of live music presented by The Identity Tampa Bay including See You Soon, The Drain Outs and DJ DFAZ.

It doesn’t stop on Friday. The celebration continues on Sunday with a Throwback Ride hosted by local fitness studio, Union Three. The spin class will feature music from the 90’s and early 2000’s.
