Epicurean Education: Holiday Wines
Enjoy a class on Holiday Fortified Wine at The Epicurean this Monday. This class will include Port and Madeira from Broadbent Selections portfolio of wines. Begins at 7pm. $50. Epicurean Hotel, 1207 South Howard Avenue. 

Whitehorse at Straz Center
Whitehorse formed in 2010 by husband-and-wife solo musicians Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland. The two toured in each other's bands for years, but they put aside their award winning individual careers to build a new band out of their exceptional guitar playing, his and her harmonies and a flair for dramatic, narrative songwriting. Whitehorse has since been nominated for the Polaris Short List (2013) for The Fate of the World Depends on This Kiss, played sold-out shows across Canada, and established itself in the USA as a band to watch. 7:30pm. Tampa's Downtown On Ice (All Week)
Each holiday season Tampa's downtown area gets a winter kiss with the limited time ice skating rink. From November 20, and through January 3 enjoy a winter tradition. Monday -Thursday: 4- 9pm. Friday: 4-10pm. Saturday: 10am-10pm. Sunday: noon-9pm. $12 per person (90 minutes of skating). The rink is located at 600 North Ashley Drive.

Master Chorale of Tampa Bay Holiday concert at Tampa Theatre
Join The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay and the Master Chorale Ensemble Singers, directed by Dr. James K. Bass, for a festive evening of holiday choral music on Tampa Theatre's historic stage! Begins at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 GA, $15 for Tampa Theatre members. Tampa Theatre, 711 North Franklin Street. 

Pop-up Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park Village
Hyde Park Village will be transformed into a Winter WonderlandMonday! Meet Santa and his LIVE REINDEER, enjoy holiday carols, play in snow and sip and snack on complimentary treats from Buddy Brew Coffee, Sur La Table, Toffee To Go and much much more! There will also be kid-friendly activities hosted by Paper Source and Pottery Barn Kids! The Wonderland will be open from 5-8pm. Visits with Santa begins at 6pm. River of Lights Cruise (Tue & Wed)
There’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than to experience our River of Lights Christmas Cruise. Step aboard the beautifully decked halls of Yacht StarShip for a cruise up the Hillsborough River and see the new beautifully lighted bridges and decorated Tampa Harbor. On board, experience a traditional holiday buffet freshly prepared by our executive chef and cap the night off with a visit from Santa, hot chocolate, and Santa’s Favorite holiday cookies! 6-8:30pm. $59.95 for adults, $29.295 for children. Mothership and Beerwolf at New World Brewery
Mothership and Beerwolf perform live this Tuesday night at New World Brewery. Doors open at 8:30pm. $10+fees. New World Brewery, 1313 East 8th Avenue. 

Premier Entertainment Presents: Magic Men Live at Tampa Theatre
Ladies night is about to get a lot more interesting…Introducing MAGIC MEN® LIVE! The first live stage production to bring the phenomenon of Magic Mike, Fifty Shades of Grey and others to life with a high-energy and breath taking experience unlike any other. 8pm. Pedals and Pints at Ferg's Live Tampa
This monthly bike ride takes cyclist on a scenic ride from Ferg's Live Tampa to Davis Island and back, with drink specials for all cyclists, and fun raffles and giveaways after the ride! Ride is approximately 10miles/1hour. Special drinks discounts and raffle prizes at Ferg's for cyclists. Meet at Ferg's at 6:30pm, starts at 7pm. FREE to join, but pre-registration is encouraged. Epicruean Education: Cupcakes and Cocktails
Enjoy something sweet Wednesday night at the Epicurean. Their Cupcakes and Cocktails class will feature peppermint bark! Begins at 7pm. $50 per person. Epicurean, 1207 South Howard Avenue. 

Island Night with Impulse at Skipper's Smokehouse
Dynamic, evocative, charismatic and soulful is the style of the band Impulse. Since forming in 1997For the last fifteen years, Impulse has captivated the hearts of music lovers crossing culture, race and age. The band’s unique style of zouk, calypso, reggae, soca and meringue offer the perfect blend of island sounds for a romantic moment, leisurely hours or jump up. Thursday, 12/17

Myq Kaplan at Tampa Improv
Myq made his network television debut on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, and has since gone on to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson and in his own half-hour Comedy Central Presents: Myq Kaplan special. He was also a Top 5 finalist on the most recent season of Last Comic Standing, and his debut CD was one of iTunes' top ten best-selling albums of the year. Event is 21+. Grateful Dead Nite with Uncle John's Band at Skipper's Smokehouse
UJB has been faithfully bringing the music and spirit of the Grateful Dead to Skipper’s every Thursday at Skipper’s since 1998. Uncle John’s Band was formed in 1989 in Clearwater Florida from a combination of talented musicians who love to play the music of the Grateful Dead. The purpose of Uncle John’s Band is to recreate the atmosphere and musical adventure of a live Dead show. Doors open at 8pm. FREE to attend. Skipper's Smokehouse, 910 Skipper Road. 

Festival of Light: An Intimate Evening with Matisyahu at Straz Center
Part philosopher, part ecstatic poet, artist Matisyahu blends beatboxing with Orthodox Jewish themes in catchy, penetrating reggae and hip hop rhythms. His unique alternative flavor created the 2005 hit “King Without a Crown” and “One Day,” catapulting him to international acclaim. 8pm. $38.50-$48.50. Straz Center, 1010 North Macinnes Place.

Bourbon Pairing Dinner @ Square 1 Burgers (St. Pete)

The Weekend at Amalie Arena

Matt Pike at The Orpheum
Matt Pike is an American metal musician best known as the guitarist of the influential doom metal band Sleep and the frontman of High on Fire. He performs at The Orpheum Thursday night. Doors at 7pm. $20-$22. The Orpheum, 1915 East 7th Avenue.
