The site of the old Colonnade restaurant — 3401 Bayshore Boulevard — is transforming into the latest luxury development in Tampa. Named The Viragethis 24-story collection of waterfront condos is bringing something new to South Tampa’s real estate scene. Site plans call for a secured on site garage, two pools, a covered pavilion with a bar, a sun lounge, a pet park and a spa.

Million dollar units rising on Bayshore

These $1 million+ units provide panoramic views and quick access to scenic Bayshore Boulevard. Condos range from 2,753 sq. ft. to 5,429 sq. ft.. Units feature spacious terraces with bay and sunset views, multiple walk in closets, dressing rooms, an elevator foyer, a den and ample storage space. Floor plans reveal great rooms, multiple suites with private bathrooms and galleries leading to the elevator.

The units will be situated above a two floor parking garage. There will, of course, also be ample guest parking spots. Larger condos feature 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, with bay and sunset terraces, as well as a private owner’s terrace. Those units also come equipped with comfortable office space, a butler pantry and small bar area.

Local inspiration helps add character to the concept

The Architectural firm Curts, Gaines, Hall, Jones is bringing this concept to life. Beasley and Henley Interior Design will infuse their signature style to the Virage’s interior common areas. Sarasota-based Ascentia Development Group crafted the condo towers waterfront site. Realtors with Virage will be on site daily beginning Friday, April 7. You can learn more about the project by visiting its official website.

Virage’s development follows in the footsteps of the Nine15 — a project that measures 23 stories on Franklin Street that is slowly but surely coming to fruition.
