SOtampa Sampler: Tech Firm Moves to Tampa, Corin Plans to Add 100 High-Wage Jobs


The city of Tampa is quickly becoming the HQ hub. With assistance from the Tampa Economic Development Commission, our city has turned into a magnet for job creators and technological innovators.

Vendita, a global tech and software development company, announced that it will relocate its headquarters from Toledo to Tampa. The company plans to add 19 new jobs to the Tampa area by 2019.

Positions at the company include high-tech, high-wage positions, such as database administrators and developers, along with sales professionals and administrative staff.

Tech company makes move from Toledo to Tampa

Vendita has moved into executive office space at 2503 West Swann Avenue as it finalizes leasing up to 3,500 SF of space in Tampa and an investment of $500,000 in the new HQ. Launched in 2008, Vendita Technology Group is a certified woman-owned minority business enterprise that currently employs 14.

High-wage jobs abound throughout the city

Corin, a global manufacturer of orthopedic devices and high-tech solutions to improve surgical procuedures, announced that it’s expanding its US headquarters in Tampa.

The company will add up to 100 new high-wage jobs in marketing operations, sales and other administrative roles and invest $500,000 in its new offices by 2022.

Tampa has been and will continue to be a corridor of technological and healthcare innovation, which creates a strong base for talent and collaborative partnerships with other adjacent industries.

Corin USA was established 14 years ago in Tampa and is home to the company’s business activities in the US.
