New Taco Shop Takes Tampa to the ‘Xtreme’


Taco lovers, rejoice! A new taco shop has just opened its doors to foodies who crave variety on their plate and you can find them at 310 Waters Avenue.

The restaurant plans to host a Grand Opening on Feb. 28. Xtreme’s lengthy menu features quesadillas, burritos, tacos, tortas, taquitos, tostadas, sopes, nachos, loaded fries, bowls and elotes (roasted corn topped with mayonnaise, queso fresco and chile).

Tijuana Taco with Grouper ($2.79 each)— Grouper topped with cilantro and onions and served with a side of fresh limes.

Stoner Burrito ($11.99) choice of 1 pound of meat, Mexican rice, black beans, French fries, thin shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and queso fresco.

Xtreme Quesadilla ($6.99) choice of meat with melted mozzarella, cheese and served with a side of sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole.

Xtreme Sope ($3.99 each) handmade thick tortilla topped with choice of meat, black beans, thin shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and queso fresco.

Buffalo Loaded Fries ($7.99) French fries topped with choice of tempura battered shrimp or breaded chicken in Xtreme’s spicy buffalo sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and queso fresco.

Chile Rellano Bowl ($6.99) — Mexican rice, black beans, roasted poblano pepper stuffed with queso blanco, topped with thin shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, sour cream, sliced avocado and queso fresco.

Their hours are 11am-8pm Tuesday through Wednesday; 11am-9pm Friday and Saturday; 11am-8pm on Sunday. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram for a look at their full menu.
