Carnival announced that it will enhance its service in Tampa. Beginning on January 27, 2018, Carnival Miracle will operate seven-day Caribbean cruises from Port Tampa Bay. The cruise line will also expand service to provide week-long Mexican Riviera cruises from Long Beach, California.

“Tampa and Long Beach are both highly convenient and popular homeports and we’re delighted to provide our guests with exciting new year-round cruise vacation choices in these two markets,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. The week long trips will depart on Saturdays and Sunday and feature four Carribbean ports: George Town, Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico; Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan; and Belize City, Belize.
